road trippin'

I'm in Byron. Jono and i drove up on tuesday morning and camped 3 nights along the way and it was amazing! We drove through snow covered mountains in Victoria, epic highlands, beautiful countryside and amazingly green rainforest. This country sure has it all. I will post photos when i get back to Melbourne in a week.
So yeh now we are in Byron Bay staying with Jono's family and just cruising. The weather here is so good it's sunny and warm, the complete opposite to Melbourne right now.
Well, i'm going to wash the car now....later x

Sunday dinner

We had a few friends over for dinner and wine last nite which was very nice. For dessert I baked a good ol' smulpaj with blueberries and vanilla custard which nobody had ever had before - success! Hahahaha! Smulpaj is so Swedish it's ridiculous.

Great Ocean Road

On tuesday morning Jono and I drove down Great Ocean Road where we camped for 2 nights out in the most amazing nature. Drove down through Torquey, Lorne and Apollo Bay through the most beautiful scenery. The first night we camped in Blanket Bay which we had all to our selves. Pitched our tent 20meters from the beach and went down for a walk. So beautiful! It was so cold that night but we survived. The next day we drove through cape Otway to Johanna beach and set camp. Had some lunch and drove to 12 Apostles and made it just in time to watch the sunset. It was the most beautiful thing seeing the sun set behind these amazing rock formations.

Sunday

Boyfriend and i went to the design markets on Federation square today. They are held down in a car park... very odd but kind of cool. Bought a 'This is Tomorrow' alarm clock. Just realized it's gonna be hell annoying sleeping to the ticking sound... 

Tonight i've been for drinks with Lex at Der Raum, a gorgeous little cocktail bar in Richmond. They serve the most fabulous cocktails so if you ever get the chance, go there!

Sweden

Went to IKEA a few days ago and bought a bed frame and some swedish knackebrod! Delish! I don't really miss anything from Sweden other than my family and friends, but man did that knackebrod taste like sweet dreams and awoke memories and a longing to be home in Sweden for the summer....

These are a few polaroid shots i took last october in the norwegian fjords where i used to live. Don't have anything new i wanna show or tell now so these ol' goodies will have to do the trick.

I have been working a lot on my two folios the last couple of days. They are both pretty much done and ready for printing. Hand ins are in 2 days and it feels great to not be stressing out doing everything last minute, you know, the way things usually tend to be.
